I automatically usurped the county of Kildare from my brother.
Yet earlier in the game when we only had the starting setup for Tara (Me: Petty kingdom of Tara and county of Tyrone, with my brother as vassal and count of Kildare) an adventurer attacked me and took my only province. My brother told me that after I died he had gotten both the petty kingdom of Tara, the duchy of Leinster and my county of Kildare. shouldn't my control have moved to him then? Yet when I died it was immediate game over for me! How come? Even if my brother took over all my titles when I died (wich it said he SHOULDN'T) i still had my heir with his own titles as a vassal. The warning "Title loss on succession" only states Tara and when hovering over the shields of the other titles it says they should all go to my son. And all my titles would also go to him? Or would my other titles be kept by my son?īut since he is controlled by my brother in this game, he is not my heir, instead my son is the heir of all my titles except for petty kingdom of Tara. He is also the Tanist of Tara.Īs I understand it, since the count of Tyrconell has the most tanist votes, my control would simply switch to him when I die, if he had not been player-controlled. My vassals are my son, who is count of leinster and ossory, and my real-life brother, count of Tyrconell and Tyrone. I am also duke of leinster and count of kildare. It's the first time I have had this succession law so I'm not too familiar with it.
Hey guys, me and my real-life brother are playing a multiplayer game in ireland, and ran into something weird with the tanistry succession.
